Finding joy, real joy, in the midst of the holidays can be challenging enough, but how do we share it with all the people we come in contact with during the Christmas season? It can seem like an unending receiving line of people, some we like, others we tolerate, and then there are others who we do not see anymore that we desperately wish that we could. Not to mention that we still have to find time to get our work done during the month of December. It can be frenetic, stressful and emotionally exhausting. On the very first Christmas, the shepherds were out working the late shift, punching the time clock like they always did, and their night was interrupted by an unexpected joy, that their people had been waiting a long long time for. It overwhelmed them in the best way possible and after witnessing it themselves, they couldn’t help but share that Joy with every person they encountered.
