I think all of us at some point in our high school education heard the phrase, "Why do I even need to learn this? I am NEVER going to use it anyways!" For some of us, it was in Math class, others Algebra. Why learn something if it's never going to be necessary in the real world? During the month of August, we will be memorizing scripture together. It's not just empty work though. The Word of God is effective and powerful when we apply it to our lives. Let's memorize these verses together so we can be ready for whatever life might bring our way.
