Shrinkflation and Inflation. Yuck. A dollar isn’t what a dollar used to be. Even if you’ve been prudent with your money, investing can be a roller coaster and it can be hard to keep your balance. Riches can’t keep us safe even if having more might make you feel more at ease. Each of us needs to remember that financial wealth is a temporary thing. Like a flower in the summer sun it will eventually shrivel up. Our assurance isn’t found in finance, it’s found in our heavenly Father.
