Topic: Right Size Me
Scripture: John 13

Jesus told his disciples that he was gentle and humble of heart. Humble and gentle is not what you’d expect from an all-powerful being. Jesus took it even further though. He said we should be humble too. Reaching all the world with the love of Jesus doesn’t require us going big or being exceptional. To reach our world with the love of Jesus we have to be willing to be exceptionally small.
An apex predator elicits fear and respect from their prey. They are big, fast, strong, and dangerous. Our instincts would tell us if we want to make it in life we have to eat or be eaten. It seems that to be exceptional, we’ve gotta go big. What if exactly the opposite was true? In the New Testament we read that God’s power is made perfect in our weakness. •••For more information about Parkside Christian Church visit our website at parksidechristian.com

Topic: TIME
Scripture: Mathew 25:14-30
•
In Matthew 9:35-39 Jesus tells his disciples that there is a harvest waiting to be brought in but the workers are few. He asks them to pray that God would send workers out to bring in the harvest. At Parkside we want to be God’s workers in the harvest. It doesn’t matter who plants the seed or who waters it. God is the one doing the miraculous work of making things grow. All of us need to be using our time, talent and treasures generously so that God’s harvest, His Church, grows in our community.•••For more information about Parkside Christian Church visit our website at parksidechristian.com
