Week 6 | Timeless: Paul's Prayer For Ephesus | Matt Robinson
Monday Oct 13, 2025
Monday Oct 13, 2025
Speaker: Matt Robinson
Scripture: Ephesians 3:14-21

Have you ever witnessed someone using a tool, but not exactly understanding what the tool is actually supposed to do? Prayer is an incredible tool we have been given from God. It’s a supernatural way for us to connect with him. Prayer is powerful too. Sometimes though we don’t use it quite like it was intended. Paul, as he writes the church in Ephesus, is in jail. He isn’t praying for his freedom in this letter though. Instead he is praying for the spiritual growth and well being of the Ephesians. That they would fully experience the presence of God in their lives. What would happen in our homes, in our neighborhoods, and in our city if we prayed for each other to experience the power of Jesus on a personal level?

Every good breakout movie has a plan. Whether we are talking about Shawshank, Alcatraz, or The Great Escape they all have a hidden plan waiting to be put into motion. If it’s going to be successful it can’t be discovered too soon. In Ephesians 3 Paul repeatedly mentions a mystery. A plan that God has for rescuing mankind. This plan was hidden for generations, but now it's been made known to us through Jesus. The mystery becomes our mission too. It isn’t a mystery anymore, through Jesus we can be reunited and restored with God.

Monday Sep 29, 2025
Speaker: Randy Adams
Scripture: Ephesians 2:11-22
•
The city of Ephesus was filled with people from different places, cultures, and beliefs. One of the greatest unifying features wasn’t a shared faith or belief, it was their shared economical benefit from the multitude of religions practiced in the region. Paul told the church in Ephesus all Jesus followers are united in community in an even more meaningful and powerful way. God has united us together in spite of a multitude of differences through the blood of Jesus.

Admitting our failures is painful. For the most time, the only time people do it, is either in recovery, or to highlight how far they’ve come. For Christians our testimony is worth celebrating, but it forces us to acknowledge our brokenness. Before Jesus redeemed us, we were all on spiritual life support. We were as good as dead. But then Jesus rescued and redeemed us. All of us have a powerful story about how God’s grace has transformed our lives. What is your story of Jesus resurrecting you?

Week 2 | Timeless: Giving Thanks for the Church and Jesus | Matt Robinson
Monday Sep 15, 2025
Monday Sep 15, 2025
Speaker: Matt Robinson
Scripture: Ephesians 1:15-23
•
Paul tells the church in Ephesus that he is continually doing two things as it relates to them. He is consistently giving thanks to God for their faith and he hasn’t stopped asking God to help them know Jesus better. As a church we can consistently give thanks for our spiritual family and commit ourselves to praying that each of us would recognize more deeply the power we have access to through Jesus Christ.

Week 1 | Timeless: Ephesians | Matt Robinson
Monday Sep 08, 2025
Monday Sep 08, 2025
Speaker: Matt Robinson
Scripture: Ephesians 1:1-14

When Paul wrote the book of Ephesians, the city of Ephesus was in the midst of its Golden Age. The temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, wasn’t just a center for worship, but also the regional commerce and banking center. This encapsulates so much of what had shaped the city into the thriving hub that it was. A multitude of deities were worshipped there which created great opportunities for local businesses to capitalize on those religions. The book of Acts says that the word of the Lord prevailed mightily there. This created a great deal of friction between the culture of the city and the mission of the church. Paul’s letter to the Ephesians reminded them of their spiritual reality in spite of their present circumstances. We too need to hear Paul’s words and be reminded of our spiritual reality.
